How to use: Take the recommended amount directly under the tongue or along the inner cheek for quick absorption into the bloodstream. If the taste is too strong, dilute the tincture in a small amount of water, tea or juice. You may also start with a few drops and gradually work up to recommended amount to ensure your body responds well, as everyone's needs are different.
Precautions: large doses of turmeric (greater than 15 g/day) should not be taken long term by those with congestive heart failure. Individuals with bile duct obstruction should avoid the use of turmeric. Because turmeric has a slight anti-platelet activity, stop using turmeric 2 weeks before surgery.
